Cybertill takes home coveted ‘Supplier of the Year’ accolade at the Charity Retail Awards

Cybertill Wins Supplier of the Year at the Charity Retail Awards

Retail systems provider, Cybertill, has won the competitive ‘Supplier of the Year’ category at this week’s Charity Retail Awards run by the Charity Retail Association. Nominated by Lindsey Lodge Hospice, the company won the award for its one platform cloud solution CharityStore, which has enhanced the charity’s stock management and lifted Gift-Aided donation revenue by 73%.

Lindsey Lodge Hospice was able to demonstrate to the judges at this year’s Charity Retail Awards that CharityStore has delivered quantifiable revenue benefits and a host of commercial and operational benefits. It also paid tribute to the meaningful partnership that is has with the software house. All these factors combined to convince the judges that Cybertill was a worthy winner of the ‘Supplier of the Year’ award. 

Five years ago, Lindsey Lodge Hospice was struggling with the complications of managing Gift Aid on donations and controlling stock across its multiple shops. The paper-based system it was using was prone to errors and absorbed time just to get simple tasks done. 

The hospice’s Head of Retail, Sue Sumner, explains: 

“We knew we were missing out on vital revenue due to these errors. The only way to resolve the situation was to introduce a more sophisticated way of managing our retail estate.” 

The decision was made to invest in the specialist retail management software, CharityStore from Cybertill.  

Sue Sumner concludes:

It also runs a number of retail events on the road. Lindsey Lodge Hospice uses Cybertill’s CharityStore platform, a cloud-based charity retail solution which includes modules for EPoS, Gift Aid, eBay, Ecommerce, Lottery, Loyalty, Mail Order and Supply Chain
